He is exalted
The King is exalted on high

Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to people of good will.
We praise you, we bless you,
we adore you, we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
Lord God, heavenly King,
O God, almighty Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of God,
Son of the Father,
you take away the sins of the world
have mercy on us;
you take away the sins of the world,
receive our prayer;
you are seated at the right hand
of the Father, have mercy on us.
For you alone are the Holy One,
you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Mass Readings

Responsorial Psalm
“The precepts of the Lord give joy to the heart.”

Gospel Acclamation
“Alleluia, alleluia, Alleluia, alleluia”

Universal Prayer
R: Lord, hear our Prayer.

In Christ Alone
Keith Getty | Stuart Townend

In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light my strength my song
This Cornerstone this solid Ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love what depths of peace
When fears are stilled when strivings cease
My Comforter my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand

No guilt in life no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand

Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of hosts.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory
Hosanna in the highest
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the Highest.

Memorial Acclamation
“When we eat this Bread and drink this Cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.”

Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
grant us peace.

Invitation to Communion
Priest:   Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sin of the world.  Blessed are those called to the supper of the lamb.
R:   Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul will be healed

An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.  I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.  Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart, I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.  Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

Communion Song:
O Come to the Altar
Chris Brown | Mack Brock | Steven Furtick | Wade Joye

Are you hurting and broken within
Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin
Jesus is calling
Have you come to the end of yourself
Do you thirst for a drink from the well
Jesus is calling

O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The Blood of Jesus Christ

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes
Come today there’s no reason to wait
Jesus is calling
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy
From the ashes a new life is born
Jesus is calling

Oh what a Savior
Isn’t he wonderful
Sing alleluia Christ is risen
Bow down before him
For he is Lord of all
Sing alleluia Christ is risen

Bear your cross as you wait for the crown
Tell the world of the treasure you’ve found

“Thanks be to God, alleluia, alleluia.”

Sending Forth:
See A Victory
Ben Fielding | Chris Brown | Jason Ingram | Steven Furtick

There’s power in the mighty Name of Jesus
Every war He wages He will win
I’m not backing down from any giant
I know how this story ends
I know how this story ends

I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You Lord

You take what the enemy meant for evil
And You turn it for good
You turn it for good

I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You Lord

  1. Why did the disciples care that someone else was doing good deeds, who was not one of them?
  2. Do you think it was jealousy?
  3. Why does Jesus correct the disciples?
  4. Why is it important to appreciate all good deeds?
  5. What does it mean to be a stepping stone for others? Not a stumbling block?

How can we pray with you and for you in a special way?
