Offertory Giving

Your giving supports the growth and development of our church—our staff team, worship team, and ministry teams; our technology; our children’s programs; and our plans for growth. Every aspect of our ministry relies on the support and investment of people like you who give sacrificially to create a community where all feel welcomed, a church where people can grow deeper in faith, a church for this generation and the next one. Thank you for your investment in God's Kingdom.

At Ascension Parish, we use ParishSoft for online giving. You can choose a one-time or recurring gift that's weekly or monthly. It's safe, secure, and easy. Thank you for your consideration.

The Missions Fund supports the work of our Mission Partners in our community and beyond. Currently, we are focusing on the Sudbury and Maynard Conferences of Saint Vincent de Paul along with the Holy Family Summer Camp and clean water for Father Anicet's mission in Africa.

Local Missions

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

We believe a healthy community is based on serving others, both in Sudbury and Maynard as well as our sister parish Holy Family in Dorchester. When we reach out in charity, we glorify God and help other live in dignity.

Here at home, we are privileged to serve:

Global Mission

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

We are called to serve to the ends of the earth. By reaching out globally, we extend our love and compassion to those who are much less fortunate. Father Anicet is a missionary from Togo, West Africa who served our parish during the summer of 2019. While the needs of his village are great, their only source of water is rainwater collected through a well. The current one is no longer functional and so they seeking funds to build a new one.
