The path to a better life starts here

I Heard God Laugh

Prayer is life-changing and empowering but not always easy. Prayer is an antidote to anxiety, an expression of gratitude, a comfort during crisis, and a guide to conflict resolution.
No matter your background or season of life, prayer is attainable and a force of change.

I Heard God Laugh by Matthew Kelly has become a staff favorite. It's half memoir and half how-to.
It's short but packs a punch.

You do not need to read the book to participate. If you did not receive a copy or would like additional ones, please reach out to the parish office. Extra copies will be available at the back of both churches.

To bring home the experience for you, attached is a link to the 7-step prayer process for reference.

"We are spiritual beings having a physical experience."
Matthew Kelly, I Heard God Laugh

January 24th Homily

The Hebrew word for repent means to turn around. It is a change of mind, a change of heart, which leads to a change in direction.

Whether we're bogged down with regret, doubt, or uncertainty, this kind of turning around can open new pathways.

New Parish Pastoral Council

As part of our recent parish collaborative,
a new merged Parish Pastoral Councill (PPC) will be formed.

The purpose of the PPC is to act as a consultative body to the pastor, assisting
and supporting him in his leadership role.

All nominations will be considered.
Representatives will be appointed.
